Chunky aqua sea glass pendant

Chunky aqua sea glass pendant

£95.00

Handmade aqua seaglass pendant.

Handcrafted using sterling silver and fine silver with traditional silversmithing skills and tools at my East London studio. A beautiful piece of aqua seaglass has been set on a chunky textured base and has a hidden tube bail at the back through which a chain hangs, meaning the pendant effectively “floats” when it is worn. The seaglass was found by me in Seaham, North East England.

Materials: Sterling silver, fine silver, seaglass

Each piece of my handmade jewellery is traditionally made using basic silversmithing tools and skills at my East London studio and are mostly one of a kind creations. I use precious metals, gemstones and beach finds in my work and apply different textures and finishes to vary my work as much as possible. I love to use organic shapes and influences and most sea glass or sea pottery pieces are used without any additional cutting, sanding or tumbling. Gemstones are ethically sourced and I use every tiny bit of silver I purchase including any fragments, offcuts and silver dust.

All of my handmade jewellery pieces are presented in rustic, eco-friendly gift boxes and shipped in recycled packaging where possible.

All of the seaglass, sea pottery or beach finds used in my handmade jewellery are authentic and mostly found by me or my family during beach trips unless donated by fellow makers or beachcombers whom I trust. Seaglass and sea pottery are often random in shape, size, colour and pattern and no two pieces are exactly the same. These are man-made materials which have been shaped and beautified by mother nature and as such they may have natural imperfections.
