Hammered spiral ring

Hammered spiral ring

£70.00

Handcrafted using sterling silver.

This ring echoes the spirals found in ammonites and sea shells with its textured swirls and little silver decorative pebbles. As this ring is open it can be adjusted (within reason) to most standard sizes. Please enquire before purchasing. It currently sits at around a size M/N. It has been oxidised and polished to give an aged appearance.

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from sheet silver and silver wire and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
