~ HANDCRAFTED STERLING SILVER AND STRIPED SHIELD-SHAPED PEBBLE RING ~

• This ring has been handmade using traditional silversmith tools and techniques.

• A sterling silver base has been sawn and filed to suit the shape of the pebble. A circle and cut mark texture has been applied to the outer edge of the sterling silver base to create the pattern.

• A silver frame has then been made which has then been soldered to the base.

• The ring band has been crafted from sterling silver wire, sawing and flaring the two ends to create a split ring shank. Complementary cut marks have been applied to the ring band to match the pattern around the pebble.

• The ring has been hand and tumble polished and oxidised to create a darkened antique effect.

• The pebble is a mid-grey colour with darker grey stripes.

All of my jewellery is handcrafted at my East London studio using traditional silversmith skills and techniques. All pieces are generally one-offs but I do take custom orders so if you see something is sold, please get in touch and I may be able to make something similar. I hold a range of gems, authentic sea glass, sea pottery and beach finds from which you may choose to have a piece crafted to your size. All of my packaging is eco-friendly where possible and I also often recycle packaging to send an item through the post.
