Small silver flower ring

Small silver flower ring

£75.00

This ring has been handcrafted using sterling silver sheet and wire to hand shape a flower using a jeweller’s saw, which has then been domed and fused with a textured silver ball to create the centre of the flower. The petals have been filed, shaped and sanded and the flower then fused to a textured silver ring band. The ring has been oxidised (given a darkened patina) and then polished to create shiny artistic depths to the ring.

Ring Size: UK L 1/2
Materials: Sterling silver
Finish: Oxidised, shiny, polished

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from sheet silver and silver wire and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
