Three colour spinner ring size X 1/2

Three colour spinner ring size X 1/2

£85.00

This ring has been handcrafted using traditional silversmith skills and tools.

The main ring has been forged from sterling silver which has been textured with a feathered pattern. Three spinners are fixed onto the spinner which flares at each end, holding the rings onto the main ring. The spinner rings are made from sterling silver, solid brass and solid copper and have been hammered lightly to complement the texture on the main ring. The inside of the ring band is brushed silver but the outside has been polished by hand and tumble polished for a shiny finish.

Materials: Sterling silver, solid copper, solid brass
Ring size: UK X 1/2
Finish: Polished/shiny

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio in East London, and are generally one of a kind in their design or what is set into them. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from solid sheet metal and wire (silver, copper, brass, gold, bronze) and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea, predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
