Silver jade circle ring size UK N

Silver jade circle ring size UK N

£90.00

This ring has been crafted by hand using traditional silversmith techniques and tools. A beautiful olive green jade stone sits in the middle of a slightly domed oval shape, which has been hand sawn, sanded and polished. The pattern surrounding the jade stone has been made using a metal stamp to punch each circular shape, collectively creating an ocean inspired bubble or octopus texture. The ring band measures a size UK N and has been rustically hammered.

The ring has been oxidised and polished by hand.

Measures: UK Size N
The dome shape on the ring measures approximately 1.5cm x 1.3cm
Materials: Sterling silver, fine silver, jade cabochon

All of my jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using traditional silversmith skills at my little home studio, and are generally one of a kind in their design. I sometimes use findings which are not handmade, such as the chains I use for pendants but otherwise my jewellery is fashioned just from sheet silver and silver wire and old fashioned basic techniques and tools. I use ethically sourced gemstones where possible and all of the beachcombed items I use such as sea glass, sea pottery and sea plastic are genuine, mostly found by me (unless kindly donated) and smoothed naturally by the sea predominantly off the coast of England. My pieces are hallmarked when necessary as a precious metal by the London Assay Office with my maker’s mark – I use mostly sterling silver for my handmade jewellery and these are hallmarked when they are above the weight of 7.78g.
